To get to the cables and check the springs attached to the cables and door required pulling out the dishwasher. Pulling the dish washer out required removing screws on each side into the cabinets, and removing the dishwasher drain line from the garbage disposal to have slack in the line. The replacement cable was attached to the door, then threaded through the two tension wheels and attached to the spring. I had bought springs I did not need and one cable for this Electrolux, model EIDW6305GB1. The dishwasher was slid back in place and reattached the drain line and two screws into the cabinets. Had I known how simple it was to pull out the dishwasher, I would have done that first to determine what parts were needed for the repair instead of guessing what was needed and buying unnecessary springs.
