This is an authentic replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The valve plate assembly is found in a Bostitch air compressor. This part includes two metal valve plates, which are used to control the flow of air in the cylinder. You may require a screwdriver or Allen wrench when replacing this item.
Pulled head, replaced valve assembly and cleaned old gasket material from head and mating surface, replaced gaskets and torqued head on evenly. Works like new now.

Had to remove the cover and the motor from the air tank. Drain the oil to get to the piston assembly. Replaced parts. Reassembled and tested.
