This is a genuine OEM sourced component designed for use with Milwaukee rotary hammers. Carbon brushes are utilized in electric motors to conduct the current. Unfortunately, over time due to heat and friction, they will wear out eventually requiring a replacement to maintain peak performance. Keep in mind this high-quality set includes two durable brushes with attached lead wires.
