Disassembled the full nose assembly to get to the pnematic pistons. Very difficult for my model because of multiple internal and external snap rings, one of which is hidden internally and can be accessed only through two small holes.

Replaced the seals.
Reassemble -- very difficult reassembly -- needed 4 hands to compress the pneumatic assembly enough to get one of the snap rings fully seated.
My drill has had very light use but is nearly 20 years old so the seals dried out. The brushes are like new and did not need replacement. The seal kit fit great and the drill pounds away like new.
