Watched a video of repairing model 11240 , which is very similar to the 11247 Bosch rotary hammer drill. The thing has to be almost completely disassembled to replace all of the seals, included in the kit.

Not an easy job, but being retired I was able to dedicate my attention it for a couple of days.
No instructions provided only schematic which was very helpful in reassembling correctly. Had to rely on previous postings and u tube for help in disassembling. Used a magnet to remove the 6 retainer pins on shaft. Also to remove inside hammer from cylinder, facing down, tap cylinder on a wood surface so it reaches end and then use magnet
... Read more to pull out. The remaining hammer needs to remove interior clip from one of the access holes using small screwdriver to push end out of slot. Use a wire hook to yank out. Hardest part of reassembly was ensuring cylinder/shaft/shims/crankshaft aligned. After placing large snap ring onto shaft, use a pipe (pvc) that fits on the ring to pound it to overcome main spring and seat the ring into slot. These are not all tips, just additional to what is out there.
Break down Bosch 11247 hammer drill- Replace all o-rings, gaskets and spring clips in service pack along new oil in top end. Works like new again. If you have never done this job before I would advise taking it to a Bosch service center. This was my first time doing this & it was definitely a learning experience. If u decide to do the job
