I drove out the old bearing from the outside. I put a some washers on the shaft between the new needle bearing and shaft shoulder and used a \"C\" clamp to press the needle bearing in. I then removed the shaft and the bearing on the other end of the shaft and installed the new bearing on that end by pressing it on in a vise.
