Opened the dehumidifier, removed the shroud surrounding the fan, removed the nut securing the fan to the motor shaft and installed the new fan. The price of the part was more than fair and the dehumidifier works like new. What a great product! Can\'t wait to try other products from DeLonghi. George D.
