Remove the screws from the housing. Take one half of the housing off. You may want to take a picture of where the internal parts are located. Make note of how the the battery terminal are in the drill, they have to go back in the same direction. You will need to unsolder the wires from the old switch and solder the new switch wires back on. Make sure all the parts are in their place according to your picture. Then assemble the housing

Switch was sticking and then when it did work it did not turn back off!

Seperate the drill halves, desolder the old switch from the motor and solder on the leads from the new switch. Now the drill works like new! The spring in the new switch is noticeably stronger. I guess I got used to the weakening spring as it got older! Well worth the $20 spent!
