1. Remove screws holding housing together and the 4 screws holding the drill chuck to the housing.
2. Separate the 2 housing parts.
3. Remove components. Clean and inspect.
(Special Note: The clutch mechanism spring goes in the lower or left hand side at the clutch end.)
4. Re-assemble tool replacing defective pa rts as required. You should not need to use a lot of power to put the parts back together. Check alignment of parts if the pieces do not seem to fit back together easily.
