Just what the Dr. ordered!
The kit replaces all of the major wear items including the brushes and it's OEM so everything fit perfectly. It's a simple fix! All it took was a star bit, extra fine grit emery cloth, and about an hour to make my old drill as good as new. $70.00 repair vs $400 replacement works for me.
I used the emery cloth to clean the Commutator and remove the residue from the old brushes. WARNING:Be VERY careful if you do it (light, consistent pressure) and make sure you get all of the dust off or you could ruin your motor.
