Motor smoking during operation

2. Remove the spring clips from inside battery compartment.
3. Separate the drill case, take note of the clutch spring location during this step.
4. Remove wires from the old motor and removed the nylon ring on the end of the old motor and place it on the new motor.
5. Place the ... Read more new motor into the drill and connect the wires making sure of correct polarity.
6. Place clutch spring in it\'s original location and put drill case together and attach screws and spring clips in battery compartment.
7. Insert battery and test drill for proper direction and clutch operation.
