1. Removed the front screws and then the body screws.

2. Split the casing. Took a quick picture of the wiring orientation.

3. Pulled the chuck/transmission and motor assembly out of the casing. It takes a quart turn twist to unlock the transmission from the motor.

4. Repeated steps in reverse to re assemble. Watching that all wiring, LED light and components went back in position.

Light bit of a mess with the grease melted and loose everywhere. The repair was not terrible difficult. Drill works better than new. The chuck on the replacement is better.

Clutch worn out

Took drill housing apart, disconnected clutch transmission and gear housing apart replaced same . Replaced housing and tested. Worked great, clutch is working properly.
