1 Lay drill on bench and open the drill shell by removing the black Philips head screws
2 Lift up the shell leaving other side and motor laying as they are, be careful of the two springs at battery connector.
3 Disconnect the 2 wires on the back of the motor.

5 Remove this screw which is a #15 Torq head and is reverse threaded
6 Unscrew the chuck from the motor shaft and screw it on to new motor
7 Secure it with the reverse threaded screw and place the motor on the shell
8 Connect the two wires noting the red mark on the motor to show polarity.
Replace the shell and install the the phillips head screws removed in step one.
