This part is the replacement valve stem plug for your range. It is black in color and is approximately 2 inches long. In gas ranges, the valve stem plug fits inside the valve stem and acts as a cap. The main reason to replace the valve stem plug is if it is worn down or missing. This is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and it is sold individually.
