This is an original Shimano replacement part manufactured for use with Tekota drag reels. This counter measures the line depth up to 999 feet. The counter assembly is complete and fits into the counter housing, which is part of the left side plate, please note the counter is sold individually.
1. Remove 4 screws from the line counter side of the reel.
2. Remove 2 screws from the line counter side plate.
3. Remove the cover to expose the reel.
4. Inside the reel cover remove 2 screws that hold the line counter in place.
5. Remove the line counter and install the new one being careful to line up pins
... Read moreand screw holes.
6. Reinstall screws.
7. Carefully line up holes and reinstall the reel cover plate and the line counter cover plate.
