The right side post screw attaches to the frame post. It is made of metal and is sold individually even though five may be needed. This part is an OEM from Penn for use in senator reels. A flat-head screwdriver may be helpful when replacing this screw. It will require replacing if it strips or breaks.

Open the Penn Reel #114, remove and install the new dog spring. In addition, several screws were rusty, and also 3 of them broke. Now the reel works great.
