This post screw is an authentic OEM replacement part designed for fishing reels. It is a 0.5-inch, slotted fillister head steel fastener used to secure the plate assembly on the equipment. The post screw should be replaced if it is cracked, corroded, or the threads are stripped to maintain the integrity and stability of the reel during use. Inspect all the screws on the equipment and replace those that are no longer functional. Each screw is sold individually. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the faulty screw(s). Clean the mounting surface and insert the new screw in the mounting hole. Ensure that it is securely fitted and avoid overtightening as this will damage the mounting surface and the screw.
