This part is made of metal, and is is complete assembly including an idler gear, worm bearing, and click spring. It is used to cover the side of the reel and hold components in place. You will require a screwdriver when replacing this part. It is advisable when removing multiple parts to keep careful track of their order so they can be reassembled correctly.
