This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The wormshaft is found in fishing reels from Abu Garcia. This is a complete assembly with a metal shaft and gear and a plastic bushing. It is inserted into the levelwind tube in the frame. You will require a screwdriver when replacing this part. It is advisable when removing multiple parts to keep careful track of their order so they can be reassembled correctly. This item is sold individually.

Remove both side covers. Do note the pavement of the studs. Take a photo so you can line it all back right.
To remove the slide from the tube use a big flat tip screw driver. It has a slot for it. Hold it with an adjustable wrench. Remove the pin and it will come off the tube.
There is a rubber spacer on the old worm gea
... Read morer. Install it on the new the same way it was on. And assemble it all the same as it came apart.
Do not over tighten the screws on the reel case they will snap. Use a small screwdriver so you don\'t over torque them. Just tighten up till its tight. You can break the studs off. Take you\'re time and don\'t rush. You may have to take it a part a few times till its completely perfect.
