This is an original Abu Garcia replacement part. The base washer is designed by the manufacturer for use in fishing reels. This part is placed in the cast control cap assembly beneath the washer. You may require a screwdriver when replacing this item. It is advisable when removing multiple parts to keep careful track of their order so they can be reassembled correctly.
