Took couplers off removed plastic removed gage removed old regulater put new regulater on put back together

The threads for adjusting the air pressure, stripped out making the compressor totally unusable.

1. Removed the cover to access the regulator.
2. Removed the gauge and two quick couplers.
3. Screwed the bad regulator out of the 6 gal tank.
4. Teflon taped all threaded fittings. Reassembled.

Remove the cover
Remove the gauge and hose connector
Unscrew the pressure regulator
The installation is just reverse from removal
