This special drain valve allows a user to drain the air tank, please refer to appropriate diagrams for correct location of this item. Over time, rust and corrosion may prevent the drain valve from sealing properly and the tank will not hold pressure. Conversely, a drain valve that does not open at all can allow excessive moisture and rust to accumulate within the tank.
