The pressure switch tells your compressor when to start and stop building up the pressure. This is an authentic manufacturer-supplied replacement part that is specially designed for Rolair air compressors. Common symptoms of a faulty pressure switch include a motor that continues to run regardless of pressure until the safety valve opens or a compressor that simply will not turn on at all. Please note this part is sold as an individual item. A screwdriver, a wrench set, pliers, and thread sealing tape will be needed to perform this repair.

Removed old switch and wires. Loosened the motor bolts to move motor so new switch cold be set in position and secured.Wired the switch and started the compressor without a problem. The new switch worked perfectly.
