This is a genuine Powermate and Husky part for use with Compressors. The valve plate assembly controls air movement through the pump to compress the air. The most common reasons for replacing the valve plate assembly is if your air compressor produces very little or no pressure at all. This part includes the valve plate, Gasket, head to valve plate and the gasket, valve plate to the cylinder. The tools that you will need to replace the valve plate assembly are a screwdriver, socket wrench, and a wrench.
