This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with Powermate air compressors. The filter prevents dirt from entering the pump head. Debris in the pump can wear on the piston and cylinder eventually freezing up the pump. It is part of normal maintenance to replace worn out filters, please note this filter is sold individually.
