This is an OEM Authorized part designed for Air Compressors. It is a metal Valve which is sold Individually. Check valve lets pressurized air flow into the tank and prevents air from flowing back into the pump. When replacing this part make sure to unplug the air compressor and release the air from the tank.

Works on Porter Cable C2002 Type 3
Air was leaking at the compressor and the tank would not hold air. I purchased this replacement check valve and that solved the problem! Before I installed it, I sprayed the inside of the new valve with silicone spray to help keep the rubber seal soft. (I took the old check valve apart and found the rubber stopper was all dried out and would not seal.) The new check valve works perfectly!

Remove hose clap with hole punch expanding clamp. Used socket to remove check valve , turn on side to drain all water from tank. Teflon tape on check value tighten and clamp hose clamp.
loosen clamp on hose, removed valve with wrench, installed new valve, tighten with wrench, reattach hose and tighten clamp. The original part was brass, the new was aluminum.
