Replace motor cooling fan

Remove outer housing screws, pry off old fan, press on new fan, seat with rubber mallet and adjustable wrench to get appropriate depth on motor axle.

Remove motor housing. Make a mark on the shaft where the fan is located. Use a small puller to remove the old fan, then press on the new fan.

Compressor would not build pressure, and the fan was broken

Removed housing from motor assembly, removed four head bolts, installed gasket, valve plate and head gasket. Replaced head bolts and torqued. Removed broken fan and replaced it. Replaced housing and test run for about 20 minutes

I pulled the old fan off and tapped the new fan In place. It wasn\'t very hard at all. It was quite simple, the hardest part was finding all the screws to take the housing off.

Took screws out from plastic housing exposing fan.
Pry off old fan
Careful tap/press new fan on.
Put back together. Done.
