2. Separated housing halves & removed electric motor assembly after disconnecting white
electrical leads from electric motor plus green ground wire and air tank fitting at the tank.
3. Exercise care in removal keeping track of the black rub ... Read more ber motor mounts which encompass the motor assembly on all sides. Take note how they fit in place and don\'t lose them.
4. Pulled cylinder head from the motor utilizing a 5/32\" Allen wrench and replaced cylinder
head and the two translucent O-rings; one on each side of the head.
5. Reassembled in reverse order. Used a small zip tie to hold white electrical lead in place
around armature field as the zip tie had to be cut in disassembly.

Disconnected the wiring using pliers to pull the quick connects.
Disconnected the storage tank from the compressor using open ended wrench
Pulled the compressor apart using an allen wrench.
Cleaned off the rust with a scotch brite
Replaced defective valve ... Read more and replaced the o rings
Reasembled.

2. Take off pipe at compressor head
3 Remove valve seat
4 Replace valve seat with new one with o-rings in place
5 Reassemble compressor head and cowling
Runs great now. Just like new
