This filter canister assembly is supplied from the original manufacturer for use with Powermate and Husky air compressors. The part helps to ensure that the air that goes through the unit is free of dust and other harmful contaminants. Over time it will wear out and get clogged causing poor air intake and reduced performance. Note, this high-quality assembly is sold as an individual item. Replacing it is a simple task that should not require any special tools.
