1. opened housing
2. disconnect electrical plugs from part (labeled connector pairs to match up properly)
3. remove hose from part
4. Install new part
5. reconnect all connections to new part
6. replaced housing

Leaky hose die to corrosion

Removed top cover cut old clamps, pulled off old hose before attaching new hose to pressure switch and other fitting, I cleaned other fitting and covered it and end of pressure switch with silicone rubber, attached hose with clamps and let dry 24 hours before filling tank, its been 2 weeks and no leaks so far.

compressor stops running before adequate pressure

Disconnected pressure hose from old switch
reconnected pressure hose to new switch
swapped electrical connections from old to new
replaced the cover
