Need help finding your model number?Product Description
?These genuine OEM nuts come as a set of two and are essential components inside your portable air compressor. They play a crucial role in connecting the outlet tube to the pump assembly and the check valve. The pump is responsible for compressing air into the tank, while the check valve allows compressed air to enter the tank when open and maintains air pressure inside the tank when closed. You can determine if the nuts need replacement when they become loose or stripped, resulting in air leakage or an unstable connection. You may also notice excessive vibration or rattling from the compressor during operation, even when fully tightened. To replace the nuts, start by depressurizing the air tank by pulling the safety valve and draining any water from the tank by opening the drain valve. Remove the screws on the upper shroud to detach it from the compressor, following the instructions in your user manual to locate the nuts. You will typically need a socket or wrench to remove the pump assembly and lift it up from the machine. Fully loosen and remove the O-rings and nuts at both ends of the outlet tube. Please note that the nuts are sold separately from the O-rings.
