A compressor that runs too long or cannot reach full pressure may have a worn piston ring. Check the hose, fittings, check valve, pump valves, and tank for leaks first. This replacement ring fits the piston on certain pancake compressors and is not a universal size. Match it to the full compressor model before ordering. During repair, inspect the piston and cylinder for deep scratches or wear. Disconnect power and empty the air tank before removing any pump covers.
