This is an authentic Hitachi replacement part manufactured for use with air compressors. This belt connects the pump and engine to drive the pump when filling the tank with compressed air. Belts can wear out from normal use, it is part of normal maintenance to replace the belt when it wears out. This belt is available as an individual replacement part.
