This is a genuine Porter Cable replacement part used in compatible compressors. The purpose of the pressure switch is to control the pressure of the compressor tank. The switch will activate or deactivate the air compressor. If there is an air leakage from the pressure switch, it is recommended to replace the part for proper operation of the compressor. A screwdriver and wrench are required to replace this part.
