The pressure switch tells your compressor when to start and stop building up pressure. This is an authentic manufacturer supplied replacement part that is specially designed for Dewalt air compressors. Common symptoms of a faulty pressure switch include a motor that continues to run regardless of pressure until the safety valve opens, or a compressor that simply will not turn on at all. Please note this part is sold individually, to replace it you will need: screwdriver, wrench set, pliers and thread sealing tape.

Extremely easy repair. Only six wires to disconnect from the broken switch and re-connect on the new one, plus two air line fittings. Make a note of where the wires connect before removing the old switch, and you\'ll be fine.

Removed the parts from the old pressure switch that are not included with the new one. Open the cover, made a wiring diagram and disconnected the wires. Installed the new switch, connected the wires and installed the parts on it.
