This is a genuine manufacturer-approved replacement switch, it is an important component which handles on/off operations of a DeWALT air compressor. Modification required
Luckily I ordered 3 switches. I broke the first one trying to force it into the opening of the shroud on the air compressor. Ended up having to trim the outside perimeter of the next switch so it would not be too big for the opening in the shroud. The second switch is working fine now but this trimming should not have been necessary.

Removed safety covers, removed bad switch and replaced power wire was disconnected so reconnected, tested it all ok. Reassembled.
