?This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with air compressors. The pressure switch is used to activate the motor when the pressure in the tank drops below the set pressure amount, and to turn off the motor when the pressure in the tank meets the setting. This pressure switch is sold as an individual replacement part.

Compressor would not shut off upon reaching max tank pressure

Split compressor module in half by removing deep seated case screws.
Locate pressure switch, and replace with new one.

Reassemble in reverse order including reconnecting hoses with new clamps
Test unit before permanently remounting in frame chassis unit
If unit shuts down at proper tank pressure, finish reassembly and you are done
