The pressure switch is used to activate the compressor's motor to build air pressure to a pre-set level, and to turn off the motor when the pressure is met. A sign of a faulty pressure switch is the motor not turning off when the pressure is met. This pressure switch is available as an individual replacement part.

Removed electrical wires.
