This is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with air compressors. The pressure switch is used to activate the compressor's motor to build air pressure to a pre-set level, and to turn off the motor when the pressure is met. A sign of a faulty pressure switch is the motor not turning off when the pressure is met. This pressure switch is available as an individual replacement part.

Hello Sammie, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the pressure switch, the safety valve, the regulator, the o-rings (which also come with the valve plate kit) and the piston seal. Check for any visible damage and you can test the pressure switch with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter works, we have a video on how to use one.
