My compressor accidentally rolled and the regulator broke off flush with the tank. I used a screw extractor to remove the old threaded pipe from the tank. The gauges, relief valve, and chuck receiver were removed from the old regulator. I used teflon tape at each joint to assure sealing of connections on re-assembly with the new regula tor and nipple.

Used an easy out to remove the threaded portion of the manifold left in the tank. Applied Teflon tape to nipple and screwed it into the tank. I cut the air hose off as close to the manifold as possible and put a new screw down hose clamp on it. I then moved the pump out of the way, and swapped gauges, hose connector, and pressure relief valve wrapping all threads with Teflon tape. I screwed the manifold onto the nipple and made sure it was tight. I reinstalled the pump and pressure tested all fittings for six hours. No leaks.
Thanks for an excellent product.
