This is a genuine OEM sourced component which is specially designed for use with air compressors. A strain relief is designed to slide onto your cord and fit securely at the end, where it's firm rubber will protect the base of the cord from getting bent and pinched, which can expose the wires and become a safety hazard. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty part that was installed on a new unit. Please make sure to check the owner's manual and the appropriate diagrams for your model for the correct installation of the new bushing strain relief. Keep in mind this high-quality rubber part is sold individually.
