Removed covers, fan, head, old piston from bearing then piston sleeve.
Placed piston and sleeve in lower head and onto piston. Tightened piston arm. Replaced lower gasket, placed upper head with new gasket and tightened bolts.
Placed new fan on shaft.
Removed and replaced hose.
Reinstalled covers.
Removed the plastic cover, then the head. One bolt to get the piston off the crankshaft, slid the old piston assembly out, slipped the new one in and reattached the head and cover. 20 minutes tops.

Removed cowling, compressor head, cylinder, piston with compression ring.
Replaced with new parts in reverse order.
Only wish they had mentioned that the kit did not contain the rubber o rings.

Air compressor wouldn\'t build to full pressure and would continue to run
Removed the Shroud exposing all of the needed bolts to access the head and valves.
Removed the pressure line from the head to the tank, removed the 4 allen bolts holding the head and valve plate to the cylinder.
Set that all aside, and loosened the allen bolt and nut holding the connecting rod to the eccentric on the electric

Slid the connecting rod off the bearing at an angle, then pushed the piston and rod up through the cylinder, taking the cylinder sleeve with it out.
Then reassembled the assembly with the new parts, in reverse order.
buttoned up the shroud and unit tested out just fine.
Make sure that when you put the valve plate back on under the head assembly to get the intake and the exhaust valve plate in the right direction, or there will be no way for the compressor to build the pressure it is designed for. You will hear a distinct noise if the valve plate is put on in the wrong direction.
Change out piston on oil less air compressor. Remove head and change sleeve and piston. Problem with removing fan on crank of shaft running piston. Be careful. this allen screw twisted off on me. Might have been left handed. Make sure and check. Used glue this time.
Removed safety cover and air lines from compressor. Removed cylinder head and reed valve assy. Unbolted connecting rod from crankshaft and disconnected piston from connecting rod. Removed piston, connecting rod and cylinder from compressor housing. Reversed procedure to install new piston assy. kit. Compressor now pumps up to 150 psi. Tha
