Original hose failed. Bad design by Craftsman. Should have been stainless steel hose.

Removed failed hose.
Wrapped new hose with teflon tape.
Had to back out useless screw in diaphragm assembly to install new hose.
Hose still leaks at the threads but compressor is still usable.
