The air compressor had 2 thin metal valves that were damaged. 2nd time this happened with this 40 yrs + compressor. Had thr original head repaired several years ago. Decided to replace the head this t

Observed one of the 2 compression cylinders was not working properly. Removed the head and discovered the thin metal valves had broken. Had been \"repaired\" in the past and decided to order the kit and replace the head,
Original head had two connections, one for tank and one for pressure relive valve, new head had only 1 connection , so had to improvise a \"T\" fitting. Once that was accomplished, the new head performed perfectly, much quieter and reached 90 psi with no air leaks and no problems.
Quite satisfied with the repair.

Remove the cylinder head, then clean all of the surfaces, then install the gaskets and other parts where needed. Runs great now
