This piston kit is for air compressors. The piston kit contains parts for rebuilding the piston and related parts. The kit may include multiple parts; refer to your parts diagram for a complete list of parts included. Unplug the air compressor and bleed air from the tank before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Hi Dennis, Thank you for your question. A small amount air coming out of the oil fill cap is normal. If there is a lot of air coming out of the oil fill cap, then there is an issue with the piston seals and they will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
Hello Marvin, thank you for your question. If your compressor is losing pressure through the oil fill tube, check the piston seals. We find the seals not sold separately, but with the Piston Kit E100251. Good luck with this repair.

We have researched the model number that you have provided and the manufacturer recommends a non detergent oil such as SAE-30 (API CG/CD Heavy Duty) or SAE-10 for winter conditions. It can be a cause of low pressure, but you may also want to check the gaskets, the reed valve, the filter, and the piston.
