It is a genuine item that is supplied from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. The purpose of this gasket is to provide an air-tight seal between the tube and the head. It provides an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty item that was installed on a new unit. Unfortunately, over time the material will wear out and it may begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement. Refer to the diagrams of your model for the correct application of this hardware.
