This kit includes one metal tube and two rubber ferrules. The tube and ferrules connect to compression nuts on both sides of the tube. They are to be used in air compressors made by Campbell Hausfeld. A wrench may be needed to install these parts. These are authentic items supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer.

First, drained the tank completely. Then, removed all hoses and compressor motor cover.
After that was removed, the cracked copper line replaced it with the new line and the rubber bushings.

My compressor started \"stumbling\" you might say while I was using it to blow texture on my new ceiling. I turned it off to examine it, then tried to turn it back on after it cooled down.

... Read moretrouble of replacing the pressure tube which was cracked causing my tank to lose pressure quickly. That\'s a bit trickier because you have to cut it to perfect length with some copper pipe cutters. Size it up and mark it to the one that you replace, and you should be fine. It helps to loosen the motor mount bolts to give yourself a little play. Make sure you run the two O rings on each end of the pipe before you reconnect. Make sure the old, broken ones aren\'t stuck in the connector too. Start each connection by hand as to be careful not to strip the threads since the tight fit has a tendency to want to make them go in cockeyed. Turn it on, check that it shuts off at the required psi, then check for leaks. Good to go!
The motor bracket I ordered had to be replaced. When it broke for sometime, this let the motor rotate back and copper tube I ordered had to be replaced due to rubbing against the back. After receiving the replacement hose I had to cut the copper hose by about an inch and a half to fit using the cutoff tool. Then I had to file the end to make them smooth to fit inside the pump and tank fittings.
Easy fix, loosen the pump made easier to replace the tube , after cutting bout an inch off the tank end of the tube . I did notice the pump end could be bout 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer ,we made it work .
