First disassembled the unit, knocked off the rust and repainted the silver exterior. Installed back with all new hardware, all the parts I purchased from you and reinstalled all the exterior plastic. Sucker runs like brand new !! This air compressor has been the most USED/ABUSED tool in my garage since I bought it. Was borrowed WITH and WITHOUT permission, but always got back to me in one piece. New hoses and fittings....Paint and clear coat. Let the old hardware SOAK in PBR and WD40. Used rust removal gel on the outside, POR 15 silver painted back on.

Repair was done on a \"~ 2004 Husky Air Compressor: Removed compressor/pump cowling (wished I would have known there were 2 screws holding the cowling in place in addition to the more obvious tabs/slots in the cowling), removed electrical cord from unit, matched cord to replacement part at \"EReplacement\" (with the help of a very friendl y and professional sales rep.), received new cord by delivery, installed replacement cord, checked operation (perfect), re-installed cowling.
