This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with air compressors. The switch is used to turn the pump motor on when the pressure in the tank drops below the desired pressure setting, and to turn it off when the pressure reaches the desired amount. This switch is sold as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.
