Product Description

?

This authentic replacement part is designed for Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer and it is sold individually. The pressure is build in such a way that it will let your compressor know when to stop and when to start building up pressure. There are different reasons a pressure switch could be leaking air, however if it is the pressure switch should be replaced immediately. To complete this repair you will need: a wrench set, a nut driver set and a thread-sealing tape.

Remove existing switch paying attention to the wiring on the switch. Be sure to put Teflon tape on all threads and tighten snugly. After all fittings are tightened plug in compressor, turn on and monitor while it pumps up! It will shut off at the desired pressure.

Well nobody told me that once I put anything in the shutoff port I couldn\'t get it out, had to fight with that then
after reassembly the head still leaked so I had to plane it then seal the crap out of it but then it sealed fine. The pressure switch was easy, by t don\'t forget to turn off the power, also a small oring used on the air hose connector will stop that endless leak.

Disconnected wires from old pressure switch, and then removed the switch with a wrench. Put new regulator and Gauge on the new pressure switch and attached this to the tank. Reconnected the 6 wires and every thing worked fine. A nice savings since I purchased the 5 hp compressor for $15 at a yard sale.
